“Bulletin of Mariupol State University” was founded in 2008

Editor-in-chief of the Bulletin is Rector of Mariupol State University, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Sc. D. (Political Sciences), Professor
Kostyantyn Vasylyovych Balabanov.
The compilers of the “Bulletin of Mariupol State University” set the aim to give broad coverage of problematic issues of modern linguistic thought, including: the genre of typology of literary works, the language and style of literary works, peculiarities of the figurative words in literary works, problems of comparative literature, methodology of hermeneutic studies; features of semantic expressions of language units, study of areal vocabulary, problematic issues of word-formation derivatology, theoretical problems of morphology, functional-syntactic manifestations of language units; various aspects of studying folklore motifs and images, folk stories and symbols, and the like.
According to Resolution of the Presidium of the Certifying Board MEU 08.07.2009 p. № 1-05 / 3 “Bulletin of Mariupol State University. Volume: Philology” (ISSN 2226-3055) is included in the list of scientific professional editions of Ukraine in Philology.
The Bulletin is registered in the
international scientometric databases.
“Bulletin of Mariupol State University. Volume: Philology” is published in mixed languages (Ukrainian, Russian, English, Greek, Polish, Italian, German).
Issued twice a year (June and December).
